MASCULINE GLAMOUR

When my alarm went off this morning, I wondered if it had glitched - it is so gloomy outside today. I don't really mind the rain, or darker than usual skies, it makes me feel less guilty about sitting at my computer all day.  This home seems like the perfect place to spend a rainy day. While I dont think that I could paint all the walls in my house this perfect matte black - it really is intriguing here, in this home designed by Cathy Echols...

The small pops of color seem electric against these continually dark surfaces.

I love the way that the textures stand out in these spaces, and there are many if you look closely.

Fantastic space although I wonder if it would feel a bit dark in person? I love the pops of deep purple against the black and grey and that coffee table is the perfect textural addition! xx

I don't usually gravitate towards dark wall colors, but these pictures make it more appealing!

I wish I was brave enough to paint my walls black! It really does create a chic and modern look. I love the fact that it has been paired with natural earthy elements like the beautiful timber table and thick textured carpet.

I don't think I would ever go for black throughout my flat, but these spaces look very chic.
